CIPARSA III

CIPARSA III Logo

CIPARSA III is a new housing development in Huelva, Spain. The extension of land is over 4.7 Acres. This block, named MRU-8, is part of a Master Plan (PPO-1) in the municipality of Palos de La Frontera.  The MRU-8 Block is divided into two sectors, North (A) and South (B). Each sector is subdivided into smaller parcels of around 550 m2, for a total of 30. Each parcel contains a single-family house.

The development follows Sustainable Principles seeking to reduce negative impacts on the environment and the health and comfort of building occupants, thereby improving building performance. The houses do adapt to the land elevation. They sit over the existing ground, with no basement or unnecessary excavations. The current Flora is maintained as much as feasibly possible.  The design of the houses is considered Mediterranean Vernacular. The houses are built using traditional materials and local systems and resources.

The entire development is mindful of the local climate of Huelva. The Atlantic Subregion of the Warm Mediterranean Climate. Approximately 3000 hrs. of sun a year and significant temperature shifts between day and night.  This region of Spain has a great potential for renewable sources of energy. CIPARSA III will invest in and implement two of them: Solar Energy & Geothermal Energy
