Our Design Approach to: Dining Rooms
At VIQ Architecture, we design dining rooms as immersive environments that balance elegance, functionality, and atmosphere. Each space is tailored to reflect our clients’ lifestyles, whether for intimate gatherings or grand entertaining. Through curated materials, sculptural lighting, and thoughtful spatial planning, we craft dining areas that seamlessly blend sophistication with comfort. ARTWORK & DECOR
The wall adjacent to the dining area features a large-scale abstract artwork in muted tones of cream and soft brown. Its subtle yet dynamic composition introduces an artistic element, complementing the neutral color palette while drawing the eye and adding depth to the space.

SIDEBOARD & DECOR
Against the back wall, a refined wooden sideboard extends the use of rich wood tones, offering both practical storage and an additional layer of texture. BACKDROP & WALL DESIGN
The walls are adorned with subtle paneling in soft, neutral tones, adding texture and depth without overwhelming the space. A large, abstract painting in muted earth tones is positioned on the central wall behind the dining table. Its fluid brushstrokes evoke a sense of movement and complement the room’s serene palette, serving as a sophisticated artistic statement.

Suspended above the table, a trio of sculptural pendant lights creates a dramatic focal point. The oversized, elliptical shades feature a warm, diffused glow, casting soft, ambient light across the room. CONNECTION TO OUTDOORS
On one side, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open to reveal an adjacent outdoor terrace. The seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces enhances the room’s openness, while the view of lush greenery provides a natural and calming backdrop. A potted plant visible through the glass adds a touch of organic vitality, further connecting the dining room to its surroundings.
